Happy Birthday Sarah

I love to be able to make a very personal gift
This was for Sarah's birthday
An homage to Achilles, her precious hound
So glad she liked it!

Productive Weekend

There always seems lots of interest with the driftwood houses I've made so this collection has been added to my Etsy shop today

Small Pale Green

Small Pale Blue

The White House

Medium Blue with laundry

It's always great to do different stuff.
But customers like what they like!

A boat house, A dragonfly and an Octopus!

Finally got to deliver this little boat house

and this special order for a dragon fly.
He's kinda cute with aqua body, bark wings and oversized eyes!

I loved the dragon fly so much I decided to experiment with this little fella
Again the eyes have it!

and for the weekend I made these boats designed to add  something to any garden!

What have I been making?

More lighthouses have been dispatched!
I get that they are cute (great present for a coastal lover) but I miss the opportunity to make something quirky and more interesting!

I had a couple of other requests (pictures to come once delivered), which helped ease my pain

Happy Mother's Day

Mother's everywhere will receive flowers today, but my driftwood and bark flowers will last all year round!

I actually made these for my partner for Valentines Day
and look they haven't wilted or drooped at all!

Well we are back from our exploration to Sydney, Australia
What a crazy place that is! Wild weather, crowded and noisy, but worth the visit

Back to work and finally back to some creative fun, now the dreaded jet lag has abated!

Promise to post my latest creations ASAP

More Houses

A house for Margaret

A house for Andrea

The joy of a long weekend is plenty of time to get creative

These two houses were special requests and have turned out beautifully

I used nails for the chimney pots and bark for the roof on the tiny birdhouse

The pale colors have really brought out the grain and textures in the wood

I hope they love them as much as I do
